am a graduate of Lamar
County Comprehensive
High School Class of
1989.
Married to Tomikayo-
na Benton for 19 years,
we have four beautiful
children and three excep
tional grandchildren.
1 am the Worship
Master of The Masonic
Lodge # 67 of Barnesville,
Ga., where 1 have been a
brother for the last four
years.

City Coun
cil? The
answer is, it
is simply time
for a change,
a change for
the people, a
change for the
community.
New ideals that
are ready to be
researched, planned, and
implemented.

First responders and paramedics load a female student onto a lifeflight chopper Sept. 29 for an emergency flight to Egg
leston in Atlanta. The child, a 10-year-old female, was on a swing set when she had a medical issue. She was conscious and
alert but nonverbal at the scene. There has been no further update on the child’s condition.
