Obituaries are published as received Bobbie Elizabeth Shellnutt Burnette Bobbie Elizabeth Shellnutt Burnette, 87 of Barnes ville, Georgia passed away surrounded by family on December 2, 2021. She was born in Spalding County, Georgia to the late Jim and Opal Shellnutt on February 3, 1934. She married the late Rob ert T. Burnette, Sr. (Bobby) on September 28, 1950 and they lived together in Barnes ville, Georgia for 67 years and had three children. Bobby preceded her in death in November 2017. She was also preceded in death by her son Robert T. Burnette Jr. (Butch) and also her sister Wanda Johnson. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Zeager and husband Bruce, Denise Hames and husband Perry all of Barnesville, Georgia. She is survived by her eleven grandchildren and their spouses; Bruce Zeager, Jr., (Jennifer), Chad Hall (Craig Redelman), Angel VanderGracht (Sean), Bryon Hames (Rachel), Victoria Hames, Josh Hames and Bethany Hames; her great grandchildren, McKinleah and Joseph Zeager; her brother and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Bobbie Burnette, Kathy and Danny Martin and Joann Jones, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobbie worked for many years as the Voter Regis trar for Lamar County and as an accountant for many stores in Barnesville, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Shellnutt Bur nette were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Decem ber 6, 2021 in the Barnesville First Baptist Church. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service in Barnesville Baptist Church on the same date. Ser vices were officiated by Rev. Garth Forster and Rev. Jason Teal.
