LCSO INCIDENT REPORT SUMMARY Compiled from a summary of incident reports completed by Lamar deputies during the period Sept. 7-13, 2022. On Sept. 11 at 2:19 a.m., Dep. William Holt worked an accident on VFW Road where a vehicle was in the ditch. The vehicle had four bald tires and the driver, who was not intoxicated, said he just slid off the road. The driver was checked by EMS and released. He was cited for failure to maintain lane and defective tires. The car was towed. On Sept. 11, Dep. Holt was dispatched to a home at 170 Holloway Road regarding a disturbance. A fe male was distraught because someone took the shoe strings out of her work shoes. SHERIFF'S REPORT Between Friday, September 9 and Thursday, Sep tember 15 the following were processed through the Lamar County jail: Jason Milton Charles, 48, Warner Robins, two counts DU1, criminal trespass and disorderly; Jimmy Miron Coe, 25, Barnesville, obstructing person making emergency call, two counts cruelty to children, simple battery and obstructing officers; Di’airwynne Jarquez Floyd, 25, Griffin, probation violation; Jerry Clinton Gibson, 46, Barnesville, arrested for U.S. Marshall service; David James Ham, 42, Newnan, arrested for Coweta County; Derringer Redrick Harris, 36, Griffin, speeding and two counts DU1; Charlie Mays, 55, Barnesville, bench warrant; Paul Luther Nipper, 36, Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine and possession and use of drug related objects; William Jarrod Oglesby, 39, Barnesville, incarcera tion order; Scotty Allen O’Neal, 45, Woodbury, theft by taking; Wayne Alfred Owens, 33, Barnesville, child support lockup order; Willie Floyd Perdue, 52, Barnesville, possession of meth. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies answered 135 calls Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 13 911 calls. Lamar County Fire Fighters responded to 14 911 calls. Barnesville Fire Fighters responded to two 911 calls. Ameripro Ambulance Service responded to 63 calls. There were seven accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served six state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 19 traffic citations.
