Ameripro Ambulance Service responded to 78
calls.
There were five accidents.
Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served three state
warrants.
Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 11 traffic
citations.

Legal notice changes
due to new law
Gov. Brian Kemp signed House Bill 25, a new
Georgia law set to take effect July 1 that will increase
the rate for legal advertisements from $10 to $15 per
100 words. It is the first rate increase in more than 25
years.
