of Barnesville and adjacent territory for the magnifi
cent patronage which they have given us during the
few weeks we have been in business in Barnesville.
The volume of trade we have enjoyed has been
more than we anticipated and it is indeed very grati
fying. It will encourage us to renew our efforts to
give even increased satisfaction to all who will favor
us with their patronage.
Our Stock throughout the coming New Year will
always be Fresh and Complete and our Prices will be

We earnestly invite you to Trade with us.

GIVING EXCELLENT SERVICE
Postmaster C. P. Graddick and his
force are making an unusually fine
record in the service they are giving
the public at the Barnesville post
office. They are always on the job,
dispatching the business done there,
and they are all just as courteous as
the most exacting patron could de
mand.
During the present Christmas sea
son they have handled the large vol
ume of mail of all deesription to the
entire satisfaction of the patrons of
the office, which is greatly to their
for which they deserve the
warm congratulations they are re
ceiving.
A GRATIFYING BUSINESS
Mr. L. G. Waters, manager of the
Rogers Barnesville Store, who has
made a fine impression on the peo
ple of the city and community, is
very much gratified at the fine busi
ness the firm has done since opening
one of its stores here some weeks
ago.
The volume of business has far
surpassed what the company antici
pated when the store was opened and
has been steadily growing week by j
week.
The firm believes in advertising
and its method of doing business is
appreciated by the public.

Our New Year Resolution
We take this means of thinking our friends
and patrons for the pleasant relation existing
between us during the past year.
This is the time when we make resolutions
for the new year which lies before us. The
coming year is largely going to he just what
you and I make it. If every one will do their
best to make the most of every opportunity
presented, sieze the opportunity with joy, and
not take hold of it half-heartedly as though it
were painful duty to be reluctantly endured,
but do all that is expected of us and a little bit
more, and at the same time try to do a little
something to help the other fellow we will
all be prosperous and happy.
The above is embodied in our resolutions for
this year, and at the same time we resolve to
give our friends and customers the very best
there is in banking service. On this basis we
unhesitatingly invite your banking business.
