quote; till then, WE ARE HEADQUARTERS FOR BARGAINS.

BARNESVILLE. GA.
Rev. W. M. Hunter returned
Tuesday from Thomasville, where lie
attended the Presbyterian Synod.
He reports a very pleasant session.
Sunday he preached in Americus.
The city tax books will

Robt. Holmes, C. & T.
Rev. W. S. Stevens and Rev. H.
A. Hodges left Tuesday, for Augusta,
where the North Goorgia Conference
is in session this week. The ap-:
pointments will be known about j
Monday and they will be looked j
forward to with much interest.
The Eatonton correspondent of
Macon Telegraph had the following
in Monday’s paper:
“Mr. Samuel E. Dusenbury left
Friday to assume his duties as Cen
tral railroad agent at Barnesville. Mr.
Dusenbury has represented the Cen. 1
tral at this point for several years,
and this promotion while deserved
and highly gratifying to his friends,
is universally regretted, in that it
necessitates the removal of Mr.
Dusenbury and his charming wife
from the social life of this city. Mr.
R. A. Jones of N'ewnan, Ga., succeeds
Mr. Dusenbury here.”
The old man who looks out at the
world with clear and healthy eyes cannot
help but feel great gratification at the
thought that his children have inherited
from him no weakness nor tendency to
disease. The healthy old man is the
man who has throughout his life kept
his digestion good and his blood pure.
Not one in a thousand does do it.
Germs go through the healthy * body
without effect. Let them once find
lodgment or let them find a weak spot,
they will develop by the million and
the blood will he full of tnem. Instead
of giving strength to the tissues, it will
force upon them innutritious matter,
and the man will lose strength and the
more snsccptibie he is to disease. Dr.
Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery is
the only medicine that absolutely and
infalliahle caress all blood diseases, and
and almost all diseases are blood dis
eases. It isn’t a medicine for some
particular so-called disease. It Is a med
icine for the whole body. It force* out
all the germs of disease, and replaces
mpurities with rich, red blood.
The city tax books will
close on Dec. Ist. Pay your
taxes now.
