Milton Brown, sect, of the Southwest division of the Y. M. ' C. A. movement in Georgia, at the Tri-Hi-Y Program Planning Confer- ’; ence in Quitman. Saturday, October 4, ' the first club charter this year was granted to the Donalsonville Senior Tri-Hi-Y. The charters are granted to i clubs reaching a certain number of points on the ten point system and the Donalsonville Club was the first club in the state to reach this’ goal, j the Valdosta club was second and the Climax Club third. Sirmons, age 42, passed away at his home at Childer burg, Ala., from an accident on Sep tember 23rd. Funeral services were at Brinson Baptist Church September s 2th at 3 o’clock, with interment in the : Brinson cemetery. ’ fhi was survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie U n d three children. I The club, which is undertaking a 1 campaign to raise money for new j stage equipment, has selected Vernon ' Glenn, Columbus, and Mary Davis, Donalsonville, to serve as a committee with President Adams to select the first play of the year.
