BRIDAL COUPLE HONORED
AT SUPPER.—
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Mosely and!
Miss Nell Wheeler entertained at din
ner Saturday evening at the home of
Mrs. Mosely, complimenting Miss
Clarice Hay and Mr. Merrian Minter,
whose wedding was solemnized
Wednesday afternoon.
Valentine colors were used in the
decorations and on card tables in the
reception rooms were miniature ar
rangements of camellias. Red carna
tions and camellias were used in larg
er arrangements about the rooms. Red
and white valentines served as place
cards.
The couple were presented with
glaw cookware and a redwood serv
ing’ttfty.
Those present were: Misses Hay,
Adette Minter, Billy Canington, Don
ndfe Aspinwall, Merle Reed, Beth
Mosely, and Messrs. Minter, C. B.
Hickman, Wilmer Mosely of Albany,
Sidney, Sidney Shingler, Harris Min
ter, And Paul Rowland.

A lovely party of last week was
that on Thursday evening when Mes
dames D. F. Wurst, M. G. Driskell and
Miss Adelle Minter entertained with
a dinner party at the home of Mrs.
Wurst in honor of Misses Clarice Hay
and Beth Mosely, brides-elect.
Beautiful camellias, gracefully ar
ranged, added to the attractiveness of
the rooms.
The honor guests were presented
-with lingerie.

MISS MOSELY HONORED
AT TEA-SHOWER.—
The tea-shower given for Miss Beth
Mosely, bride-to-be, at the home of
Mrs. W. H. VanLandingham, Sr.,
Thursday afternoon, was marked by
beauty and friendliness.
The guests were greeted at the door
by Mrs. Julian Hickson. Receiving
with the bride-elect was her mother,
Mrs. J. B. Mosely, Mrs. VanLanding
ham and Mrs. Linton Barber. Mrs. R.
E. Wheeler invited each one to regis
ter in the bride’s book, which was
kept by Miss Adelle Minter. Miss
Josephine Benton received in the gift
room.
In the dining room, the guests were
served by Mrs. L. R. Robinson and
Mrs. Carl Yarborough, seated at a lace
covered table with a centerpiece of
pink camellias and maidenhair fern
in a crystal bowl. On each side was a
crystal candelabrum with lighted
pink tapers. Slices of ice-cream, center
ed with pink bells, and embossed cak
es, nuts, and mints were served. As
sisting in the dining room were Mes
dames W. H. Goodner, Hardwick
Etheridge, Misses Merle Reed, and
Nell Wheeler, and Donnelle Aspin
wal.
Miss Mosely was lovely in brown
and beige silk jersey, wearing a
shoulder spray of gladioli and jasmine,
, tied with gold ribbon.
