KILLING OAKS
Land owners in Seminole County
are finding AMiMATE an effective
and economical way of destroying
oak trees. This chemical, when
properly used, kills trees faster
than girdling and treated trees
sprout less than those that are
girdled or chopped down.
Ammate is poisonious only to
plants, which is a big advantage
over the old method, Sodium Arse
nite, which is an effective tree kill
er but a deadly poison to animals
and humans.
The County Agent’s office will
be glad to supply details and direct
you <o sources of materials. This
treatment can be satisfactorily ap
plied in the spring.
