CERTIFICATES DATED
JUNE 1, 1945
NOTICE is hereby given to the
holders of the following’ described
Water Works Revenue Certificates
of the City of Donalsonville, Geor
gia, ithat said certificates have
been called for redemption on De
cember 1, 1956, said certificates
being in the aggregate principal
amount of $16,000, known- as the
City of Donalsonville Water Works
Certificates, dated June 1, 1945, in
the denomination of SI,OOO each,
numbered 20 to 35, inclusive, ma
turing in annual installments on
the list day of June, as follows:

State Bank, Donalsonville, Geor
gia, or The Citizens and Southern
National Bank, Atlanta, Georgia,
on or about August 1, 1956, and
said above described certificates
and all unimatured coupons thereto
appertaining may then be present
ed to eaid bank for redemption on
said date, but in any event, same
dhould be presented for payment
not later than December 1, 1956.
Interest on the above described
certificates designated f6r redemp
tion shall cease to accrue and the
interest coupons maturing after
December 1, 1956 shall be void.

pursuant to an ordinance of the
Mayor and Aidermen of the City
of Donalsonville adopted on the
28th day of May, 1956.

plexities and distractions of
life, for we come back to our
task with renewed spirit and
vigor.
However, many people seem
to think that when they take
a vacation they must take a
vacation from God also. Look
at the attendance at Sunday
School and Church during the
vacation season.
If our vacations would mean
the most to us, let us vacation
with the Master. Take our
Bibles along and continue the
practice of daily devotion. Lo
cate a church where you may
worship on Sunday and go to
Sunday School. If you are vis
iting a relative or a relative
is visiting you over the week
end make sure that part of
your joyous experience to
gether is worshipping togeth
er in the Church of your
choice.
