A ‘SPECIAL’ LETTER
TO THE EDITOR
I understand you print art
icles about anything that any
one would write about so long
as it was not libelous and if
they would sign their name.
I don’t have a -gripe to
write about. I want to tell you
and the whole world what
wonderful people live in Don
alsonville and surrounding
area.
It fell my lot to experience
a great loss when George
was called away, but I have
had such good people to be at
my side, and share in my
troubles that it has helped me
to bear the burden.
George asked me to write a
‘thank you’ note in the paper
for the thoughtfulness shown
to him while he was in the
hospital, and I put it off.
So, Mister Editor, could
you help me to thank all the
wonderful people for their
kindness 1 , their flowers, food,
and cards, and especially the
prayers.
George and I loved them
for everything they did, and
I will always remember each
in my prayers.
Yours truly,
Mrs. George Odom
