Indians come close to winning, but
settle for 13-13 tie with Vienna Cubs
The Seminole Indians came
within 51 seconds of their
first win in the past 25 out
ings in Vienna Friday night
but were able to come home
with only 13-13 tie.
It was a disappointing end
to a game in which the In
dians had dominated the play.
They had moved the ball easi
ly, but penalties washed out
much of the advances. The
Indians lost 1015 yards in pen
alties, plus no telling how
much in nullified gains. TTriere

Despite this, the Indians
led with 286 total yards gain
ed to 113 for Vienna, and with
12 first downs to five for the
Cubs. •
The Indians scored early
and lead at the half 6--0 on
Mike Bowen’s 75-yard punt
return. Luke Spooner’s at
tempt to kick the point after
was deflected and the Semin
oles were ahead for the first
time in a long time.
After a punt in the second
half, Paul Brimlow, who play
ed a great game on offense
and defense from his new full
back spot, intercepted a pass
thrown by Dwayne Forehand
at the Indian 30. Chuck Wood
ruff intercepted a Seminole
pass at the same spot, from
iwhere Woodruff and Henry
Shirah worked the ball down
to the Tribe five-yard line,
with Shirah covering the fin
al yards for the touchdown.
Woodruff’s attempt to run
the PAT over failed and the
score was tied at 6-6.
Vienna kicked off and the
’Seminole offense started go
ing, with Jack Ivy and Brim
low sparking the march to
the Cub five. Ivey carried the
ball but fumbled and Royce
Cannington, Indian center,
fell on it to give the Indians
their second lead of the even-
This grew to 13-6 when Ivey
skirted left end for the point.
The Indians kicked off,
forced a punt, and moved to
| the Cub 17 yard line as the
end of the game approached.
With 51 seconds on the
clock, it was second down on

Cholesterol is a much-bruited
about term, controversial in
medical circles, and largely mis
understood and often needlessly
feared by the layman.
Cholesterol is the yedilowish
white fatty chemical abundant
in milk, cheese, butter, eggs and

properly metabolize cholesterol,
bits of the undigested substance

cholesterol to build cells and to
produce hormones; thus, added
