A campaign, in the interest of Home and Foreign Missions, is] being conducted this week in the Thomysville District, under the leadership of Rev. Jno. Outler, the Presiding Elder of the Dis trict. Thirty different points in the District will be visited by nine different speakers who will make over sixty addresses. The campaign began last Sunday at Blakely, Arlington and Attapul- ,-gus and will close next Sunday wjth services at Albany, Thomas ville and Hilton. Besides these places, the following will be visit ed: Mavhaw, Providence, Brinson Donaldsonville, Sylvania, Climax Whigham, Orange Springs, Pavo, Metcalfe, Boston, Ozelle, Pros pect, Ochlocknee, Meigs, Pelham, JBaconton, Newton and County Line- In addition to these, mis sionary banquets will will be held at Colquitt, Bainbridge, Thomas- ville, Cairo and Camilla. At each place from two to three addresses will be made presenting the needs ■of the cause of Christ at home and abroad. The speakers will be Rev. S.E. Hager of the Japan Mission, Rev Dr. Ed. F. Low Excursion Rates low round to the School Teacher Turns Farmer. The Macon Masons had made great preparations for the enter taining of the visiting brothers. They were expecting several thousands masons'from over the state to be on hand at the open ing services Tuesday morning and from what we can gather they were not disappointed. Rome will nuke a fight for the next Grand Lod^e meet, hut Macon will resist and it is gener ally thought that Macon will win Prof. K. C. Moore has ten dered his resignation as agri culturist at the Second District Agricultural School and has formed a co-partnership with \\\ B. Roddenbery, of Grady county. They will establish the High Point Breeding Farm two miles east of Cairo, under the firm name of Roddenbery & Moore, and will make a speciality of breeding pedigreed seed for corn, cotton, watermelons, and oats, and breeding Berkshire hogs. Prof. Moore has been with the school since its organization and has been an earnest, faithful and capable worker. Much of , its success is due to his energy and enthusiasm and it will' be with the deep regret of every friend of the school, that they see him leave.
