Miss fegar&'t after I spending a few days in Cairo, re turned to Metcalf Monday after noon. Mrs. S. A. Roddenbery and children of Thomasville spent Sunday in Uairo.guests of Mr. W. B. Roddenbery. Miss Helen Mathews, one of the esteemed teachers in Cairo High School, spent Sunday with home folks in Thomasville. We are now prepared to ne gotiate loans on town property as well as on farms. Cannpt lend over 40 per of the value. Bell & Weathers. Mr. G. W. Fullford, one of Grady’s sterling citizens who lives near Meigs, was here on business Monday. Mr. J, J. Ferrill, who lives south of town, a mighty good citizen and an old acquaintance of the Progress man, was in the city Monday. Hon. S. J. Norton, commission er-elect, of Blowing Cave, was a Saturday visitor to Cairo. Mr. Tom Singletary of the state of Thomas, was selling syrup in Cairo Monday. Messrs. Kadar and Lem Pow ell left Tnesday morning for Val dosta to serve as jurors in the Uni ted .States district court. Messrs. A. C. Sellers and Council Palmer, tw) good citi zens from Blowing Cave district, were in the city Monday. Mr. j. I.' 'Griper of route 2, has sold his farm to Mr. Ebb Forton, and has bought a larger' place known as the Joel Willis place.
