Right on the edge of a shadow cast by the^briiliant moon, half way down the. rear wall there was a group of menand t wo automobiles. It was about .11:30 o’clock. The men were running about. Finally they .'fathered in one spot som dis tance away from the automobiles, i saw one man run to a car, take out a lantern and rejoin the roup. Then a rurale, with a each body, one having the arms the others the legs. The heads of both victims hfung down al most dragging upon the ground. '‘In the moonlight I could see the waxen and bearded features of Madero smeared with blood. His mouth was open and his eyes in the tropical moonlight, had a wild, staring expression. ’There was no blood on Suarez’s face, and I could not tell where he was wounded. Suarez’s eyes were tightly, closed.
