A Sunday school wasorganived
at Bethel church, near Reno, last
Sunday morning. A full corps
teachers and officers were chosen
and the school begins under pro
mising circumstances.
Mrs. M. H. Holton, an aged
lady of Reno, fell Monday and
broke her arm. Her injuries
were immediately attended to and
she is doing very well.

The High School Assocation
was more than a success. It was
great. There was a big crowd
of boys and girls here and, ap
parently, all enjoyed themselves.

were in Cairo Sunday, guests of
Mr. J. B. Wight. These gentle
men compose the Empire-Georgia
Pecan Co. and have 2,000 acres
in pecans trees near Albany.
They came to Cairo to see the
pecan farm of Mr. J. B. Wight
and were delighted with the
town and with this section.

Editor Fuller Winnd of the
Messinger, who has been des-
pesatly ill for several, months,
was able to take a ride down
town last Saturday. His many
friends are very glad to know
that he is? improving and hope
soon to see him at his post of
duty.

journey home and a safe return
