We invite your attention to the personnel of these twelve men. They are men whose lives have been a
success; having founded some of the strongest business houses, and own and operate some of the best farms of
Grady County. The affairs of the Farmers & Merchants Bank are guided and controlled by those twelve men.
and their success along this line is attested by the growth of the institution. On Aug. 21st, 1912 our deposits
were $64,134.20, same date 191 3 they were $79,217.45 showng an increase of $15,083.25. Our cus-*
tomers are receiving the advantage of their ability and experience, and' getting prompt, progressive and j accoirL
modating banking facilities. ,
The Farmers & Merchants Bank was organized for the purpose of serving the people honestly, fairly and
efficiently. We offer you this service, with Courteous and Polite treatment, and upon this basis we solicit a
share of your business.
The low prices which have prevailed for the past few years, causing such an enormous loss to the farmers, is
largely due to the shortage of funds to handle the crops. This condition can be largely hedged against and r
practically cured if the farmer will deposit in the banks funds which they receive for cotton, syrup, etc. and in
turn pav his own debts by check.
For any funds vou may not need leave them with us and we will pay you 5 per cent on 1 2 months
time certified. 4 1-2 per cent, 6 months. 4 per cent compounded quarterly in our Saving department.
Deposit your Crop Proceeds with our Bank and
Profit Thereby.
