Thomaston Girl
Commits Suicide
West Point, Ga., Sept. 1.—Miss
Naomi Wells, of Thomaston, Ga.,
committed suicide here to-day by
drinking poison. She came here
recently to teach English in the
local high school, and was to
have assumed her duties to-day.
A note was found in her rc
which said:
“Just a bad case of blues.”
There were also a number of let
ters, addressed, sealed and stamp
ed, on a table in the young w*.

graduate of awellknown Georgia
girls’ college, and was regarded
as of unusual ability. She was
prominently connected.
