Washington, D. C,, Nov. 6.—
As a result of'requests from
editors and editorial associations papers,
in many states the U. S. Depart
ment of Agriculture has announc
ed that the November crop re
ports for each state will be sup
plied to the newspapers in all
States through the ContralWeath-
er Station located in each of the
state.
This is an extension of .the ex
periment of telegraphing the
Central Weather Station in each
of nine States, and having these
telegrams duplicated at once end
mailed to the newspapers and
agricultural publications. Under
this plan newspapers in 39 addi
tional states will now receive full
details of the state crops far
more quickly than would be pos
sible if these state crop details
were put in the mails in Wash
ington and had to travel by train
long distance to the more remote
states.
Under this plan the general
