Moultrie Railroad Company.

said railroad will be South from its
beginning point, at or near the
city or town of Pelham, in the
county of Mitchell, Georgia, thence
to some point ut or near the city
or town of Cairo, in the County of
Grndy, said state, and from Pel
ham eastward to some point at or
near the city or town of Moultrie
in tho County of Colquitt, said
state.
That the counties through which
the said road will probably run are
the counties of Grady, Mitchell and
Colquitt, in said State of Georgia.
The length of said road, as near as
can he estimated will ho (includ
ing branches) about 50 miles. ,
5th. That the names of the
principal places from which and.to
which .said .road is to he construct
ed . are:
The city or town of Pelham,
Georgia.
The city or town of Cairo, Geor
gia.
The city or town of Moultrie,
Ga. • •/
0th. That the amount of the
proposed capital stock of said com
pany is to consist of shares of
preferred stock, and 750 shares of
common stock-each slm.o to be of
the par value of $100.00.
7th. That the number of years
said company is to continue is 101
years, and ns much longer ns the
laws in force at the expiration of
said 101 years may provide.
8th. That tho principal ofliee
of said company is to he located In
the city or town of Pelham, Ga.
9th, That the petitioners do in
tend in good faith to go forward
without delay to secure subscrip
tions to capital stock, construct,
equip, maintain and operate said
railroad.

titioners have given four weeks’
notice of their intentiou to apply
for said charter, by tho publica
tion of this petition in one of the
newspapers in which the Sheriff's
advertioements are published, in
