district was in Cairo on busi
ness Tuesday. He is one of the
best and largest farmers in our
county.

Mr. Jim Mize of NoVth Grady,
passed through here Tuesday on
a visit to Calvary.
The much needed shower came

Dr. J. B. Wart ell has some
vigorous growing fruit trees and
it now appears that he will dem
onstrate that fine fruit of all

in Grady. Fruit is a great pleas
ure and it particularly helps re
duce the high cost of living.
Capt. W. E. Dunn is rapidly
recoveiing»from his recent ill
ness | and will doubtless soon be
out again.
