to his bed for about ten days is

Mrs. Eliza Collins pissed away
to her heayenly home last Sun
day afterniion. She was born in
the southern section of Grady
county and has. always been a
resident of this county. Reared
apiid the refinement of a Chris
tian home] she was an honor to
hbr parents and to the delightful
hpme in which she was brought
ufr. A purer, sweeter spirit never
dyed. Every one who knew her
loved her. She wns a faithful con
t tent Christian and >loved'j the
urch.
In her young-ladyhood she was
happily married to Mr. Malachi
Collins.
1 On last Sunday afternoon she
oassed to the Great Beyond after
qaving been paralyzed for one
n'eur.
She died at the age of eighty.
She left six children to mourn
Her logs. They are Messrs. J.H

b'erry’s on Friday night. They
were the invited guests of Mr.
Guy Lang, who was at home for
Thanksgiving. Those invited
were Misses Thelma and Oneida
Maxwell, Janie Bell, Eleanor Don
nelly, Katie Miller; Messrs Bry
an Bell, Herman Dorsey, Clyde
Lang, Arthur Bell, Laurence
Powell and Guy Lang. They were
chaperoned by Mrs. H. R. Don
nelly.,

with the Progress for the past
two years and goes I to Leesburg
to take charge of the Lee County
