Wat son last Friday and took their eleven hour old baby boy. It, was laid to rest in the Oehlocknee cem etery. Miss Elbe Singletary has re turned home after spending the latter part of the week very pleas antly with Misses Myrtle, Rosa and Bertha Willis. Among those from here that at tended services at Barnett’s ‘ creek last Sunday were Misses Myrtle and Bertha Willis and Effie Single tary; Messrs. Byron Singletary, Lamar Braswell and Willis Thomp- 9)11, . Miss Effie Chastain has returned home after spending some time with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Willis. Misses Bessie Sasser, Ruth Wil son, Maggie Coleman, Snllie Hemp, Messrs. Sherwood, Wilson, Russell Braswell dined at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Watson last Sun day. Mrs. Albic Singletary of Thom asville spent the later part of last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Watson. The next meeting of the Ladies’ Improvement Club will be held Friday before the first Sunday in July at Singletary school house. Mr. Curtis Thompson and Miss Ola Chason spent last Sunday afternoon with Misses Mamie and Ruby Watson. Mr. Byron Singletary and Miss Rufli Singletary were out driving Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Willis were called to t he bedside of Mrs. Willis’ brother-in-law, Mr. W- S. Cooper last Sunday. We hope him a speedy recovery. Misses Myrtle Willis and Effie Singletary spent last) Friday night with Miss Ruth Singletary. Messers Keigh Pope and Tom Miller was in this ‘community last Friday. Willis and Curtis Thompson ajid Paul Singletary called at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Willis’ last Thursday evening.
