Every one should be hauled away or buried. The School District Parades should be about the biggest feature pf Grady Day. The districts should begin now to plan to cap ture those prizes. Tnere are a number of problems that a good live Board of Trade Could help Cairo to solve right flow. Team work of the proper sort would return many fold for the energy and money expended As To Our Game Laws Wc received this week an nnony- mous communication asking that it be published in our paper. Wc thought it was, by this time, clearly understood that no communication will be published unless the pub lishers arc furnished with the name of tlio author. However,' in this case it would not have secured the publication of the article ill ques tion, even had the author signed his name, as so far as we can make out, it is only the growl of some party who has been caught violat ing the game law and wishes to abolish the game law for that reas on. Wc suppose it is a very common occurrence for those for those who violate laws to wish for their abol ishment. The chief trouble with the author o f this anonymous article in question is that he docs not Hcom to realize that laws are enacted for the common good and not to suit the opinions of any one man. Re also loses sight of the fact that all our interests interlock and that what effects one man effects his neighbor. He seems to think that because he committs crime on his own land that it docs not effect any one e|sc. Of course that is not a sound view to take of the matter. If he kills all the birds on his land and the bugs overspread his fields, it is very sure that they arc going to cross into his neighbor’s premises. Wc could in no sense favor the abolishment of our game laws, but here and now we call on our citi zens and on our wardens to stand for a strict observance of them. Wo do not believe the flagrant vio lations of our game and fish laws is any more to be condoucd than is the violation of any other of our game laws.
