CARR Sheriff. .loscoe Luke May Take Stump for Judge E. E. Cox Dr. Eugene Glower To Move to Florida The many friends of Dr. Eugene Clower will regret to hear that we are to ldse him from Grady county. He is now at Seabring, Fla., where he is associated with the firm of Wade-Clower & Wade, railroad contractors. It will be recalled that this is the firm of which tho late M. D. Clower was a member, and Dr. Clb%er takes the pi ue in this firm that was held by his brother. Mrs. Clower, it is understood, will go at the end of tho summer to join the Doctor in Florida and they will likely be away from Cairo for a year or two or perhaps longer. The Progress joins with all their friends in wishing for them the fullest measure of success in their new field and assure them that we will rejoice when they can return t> make their home in Grady county. . ■Some Cane The best cane'by far that ,we have seen this season was brought to our office last week by Grover Ragan from the home of Mr. B. D. Lee of Oak Hill community. A stalk of red cane measured almost five foot and a stalk of green four and one half feet. Libel For Divorce May Bell Davis vs A. Davis Grady Superior Court, Sept.
