SERVICE Oestruefive Fire Tuesday Nigl,t The residence of Mr. C. E. Yan- landinglmm located just out of the city limits on South Broad Street was entirely consumed by (ire last Tuesday night about 12-45. This wae a seven room house and had not been occupied for some weeks but was to have been occupied within a few days by Mr. G. B. Godwin. Too much headwao had been gained by the flames for efforts to amount to anything to save the building and the efforts of the fire boys were 'confined to keeping the flames from spreading to other nearby houses.
