The city council is having- a well dug on Broad street in front of Richter & Rushin’s store. It was first decided to re curb the old well near the rail road, but when the old curb was taken out the well began to cave so badly that Mr. W. B. Will Auston, the well known barber, has sold his business here to Mr. R. G. Lewis of Thomasville. Mr. Lewis is an old Cairo citizen and his many friends here are glad to see him return.
