of the Presbyterians their church
has been secured by the Congrega
tional Methodist and that Rev.
j. J. Hurst, pastor, will hold
services there on the 2nd Sunday
in each month. Services will be
held on Saturday before the 2nd
Suudav and also jn the following

object of the meeting, after

Walker in favor of the new
county movement. At the con
clusion of the speaking, Dr. W.
A. Walker introduced the fol
lowing resolution which was
unanimously adopted:
Resolved that a self perpetua
tive executive committee with
power to add to its members
shall be appointed, who shall
have full power to act in all
matters pertaining to a new
county. Upon motion of J. B.
Wight, the following well known
citizens of the different districts
were appointed on this commit
