Minutes of last meeting read and ap
proved. Committee site for works and
on water
electric light plants reported progress and
was continued.
Committee and on probable cost of reported electric
lights brought water works plants
they had Mr. J. B. McCrarv,
consulting engineer of Atlanta, opinion Ga., be
fore the oouneil and that his was
tint the water works could be built with
the amount of money voted.
By motion Mr. J: B. McCrary- consult
ing engineer of Atlanta, Ga., was em
ployed to draw plans and specifications
to conform to the Tariff Associations re
quirements for water works and also for
electric lights plant according to money
available.
Amendment to Hog Ordinance was
read the seconiMime and passed to third
reading. B} r motion the regular rules
was suspended and it was read the third
time and pa c s»»d.
Amendment to Section 5 of the Hog
Ordinance. Be it ordained by the Mayor
and Aldermen of the Town of Cairo, that
the portion of said section making it the
Marshal’s duty to notify owners of hogs
before impounding them, be stricken
from said Ordinance. This the 28th day
of February, 1905.
