Calv ary School News
We have converted our club house
into a school room and have employed
Mrs. J. T. Stephens as teacher. She
is a familiar person in the Calvary
School, having been employed here be
fore. She is in charge of the fifth and
sixth grades. In doing this the grades
are to get better service than before.

If Sir Isaac Newton was puzzled
in working out the laws of motion like
the seniors here are in the applica
tion of them, he must have “burned
his midnight oil.”

The Seniors are progressing nicely
in History. They have been studying
about the Netherlands, the Thirty
Years War, and the Elizabethan Age.

Miss Cleveland: “Ella, for what was

As the season for baseball is over,
we have organized our basketball
team and hope to challenge some
other schools later on.

The girls are very much interested
in securing their uniforms for bas
ketball. This will be an incentive for
moz’e practice and a better team.

McNair’s room since she is relieved

Farmers’ business organizations in
the United States had around 2,500,

1915. Some farmers belong to several
associations. These estimates are
based on reports received by the De- j
partment of Agriculture from 9,463
associations in December, 1925, and
4,683 associations in 1915. The re
porting associations are believed to I
