Rev. W. M. Blitch To Preach
Sunday.
Rev. W. M. Blitch, of Cairo, treas
urer of the South Georgia Methodist
Conference, and a retired minister of
the Conference, has accepted an invi
tation to preach at the Bold Springs
Methodist Church next Sunday morn
ing, April 9th, which is Easter Sun
day, and the people of the Bold
Springs community, as well as any
others, are cordially invited to partic
ipate in this Easter worship.
This church is soon to have electric
lights and is making other needed im
provements. Rev. Mr. Blitch will be
heard Sunday with much interest.
A Very Sad Death In This
Community.
A very sad death in the Bold

day morning, March 28th, at 7 o’clock,
of Miss Lenora Taylor, which occurred
at her home. All that willing hands
could do ivas done for her, but her
Heavenly Father saw fit to call her
home to Him, and she was ready to
go. She 'was cheerful all during her
final sickness and bore her suffering
which continued almost a year with
Christian fortitude that was an inspi
ration to those about her.
Funeral and interment were Wed
nesday morning at 11 o’clock. Pall
bearers were: A. J. and Bruce Atkin
son, Nioah Carter, Aldredge White,
Odessa Sellers and Mr. Sadler.
Surviving are three sisters: Miss
Callie Taylor, Mrs. Pearl Carter and
Mrs. Pansy Chason; 2 brothers: Paul
Jarrell and Earl Taylor; and a
of other relatives, m addition to a
host of friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Aldredge, and
children, of near Ochlocknee, were the

AN ORDINANCE FOR LIVESTOCK
ENCLOSURES.
Be it enacted by the Mayor and

Hog Enclosures.
Section 1. All enclosures for con
taining hogs within the city limits of
Cairo, shall be located at least 75
(seventy-five) yards, strict measure
ment, from any residence or business
house, said measurement to be made
from nearest hog enclosure wall to
nearest corner or wall of residence or
business house. This ordinance applies
to present enclosures now in use as

Section 3. No enclosure shall con

inspector or his authorized represent

power to order removal of all hogs
from any enclosure that becomes un
sanitary through neglect or indiffer

it shall be the duty of the owner or
keeper to remove said hogs from the
enclosure upon ten hours written no

individual owners, as well as buyers
