dren, ages 4 and 5, will be form
ed. Parents who are interested
in their children of this age group
becoming famaliar with the basic
fundamentals of swimming will
register at the swimming pool
not later than 11:00 A. M., Tues
day, July 5th Only those who are
registered at this time will be
admitted to the original class.
Any one interested in trying
out for swim team is urged to
contact Coach Miller at the pool
by Saturday, July 2nd.

Whereas, heretofore, on August 16, 1948,
Better Homes, Inc. a corporation organiz
ed and existing under the laws of Geor
gia, did execute to Life Insurance Com
pany of Georgia, a corporation organized
and existing under the laws of Georgia,
a • cretain security deed to the following
real property, to-wit:
A lot together with all improvements
thereon, being Lot Number Three (8)
in Block Five (5) of Southern Terrace
Estates, a subdivision of the City of Cairo,
in Grady County, Georgia, according to
a plat of said subdivision prepared by P.
W. Schinkel, Surveyor, under date of
December 29, 1947, and recorded in Plat
Book Two (2), page Forty (40), of the
Public Records of said county, which plat
and the record thereof are by reference
incorporated herein.
Subject to the Protective Covenants of
said Subdivision, dated May 25, 1948, and
recorded in Deed Book 63, pages 174-175,
of the Public Records of Grady County.
Georgia; to secure a note of even date
therewith for $6,300.00, all as shown by
said security deed as recorded in the of
fice of the Clerk of the Superior Court
of Grady County, Georgia, in Deed Book
62, pages 185-186, of the Public Records
of said county;
And whereas because of the failure of
the said Better Homes, Inc to pay cer- 1
tain monthly installments of said note;
and indebtedness when due namely.,
the monthly installments due on January 1, j
1949, February 1, 1949, March 1, 1949
April 1, 1949, and May 1, 1949, and because ,!
of the continued and existing default as
to said installments, the said Life Insur
ance Company of Georgia has and does
hereby exercise the option as granted to
it under the terms of said security deed

collectable without notice, regardless of

victims received financial aid
the Georgia Chapter last
year at a cost to the chapter of
$290,000 Chairman, Jesse
Draper, reported at the annual
meeting.
Draper said, 231 of these cases
were new in 1948.
Of the $290,000 spent on the
P™grain, nearly $206,000 went for
hospital care, he said.
Maddox reported Georgia’s
share of the 1948 March of Dimes
receipts was about $150,000. He
said the chapter’s full program
