See Free Movie,
"Green Promise"
Approximately 900 4-H Club
boys and girls saw, free of
charge, the outstanding educa
tional film, “Green Promise”,
Tuesday at the Zebulon and
Grady Theaters, through the
courtesy of Robert Johnson, of
the local theaters, who had de
cided the movie was of such in
terest and value ti farm boys and
girls that it should be made avail
able to every one of them.
The picture, which was a re
gular commercial show, played
at the Grady Theater Monday and
Tuesday; but it depicted the con
version of a farmer to the newer
and more modern way of farm
ing by his 4-H son in such a way
that County agent S. E. George
and H. D. A. Myrtle Walters
wanted all the Grady County
4-H clubbers to see it.
All of the boys and girls en- j
joyed it immensely. Mr. George j
and Miss Walters joined in say
ing this was a very nice gesture j
on the part of Mr. Johnson, in
making this most outstanding
and educational movie available
free to the boys and girls of
Grady County.
