VASHTI STUDENTS TO
PRESENT PAGEANT HERE.—
The students of the Vashti
School of Thomasville will give
a Christmas program of pageantry
and music at the Methodist
Church in Cairo Sunday evening
at seven-thirty o’clock. The tab
leaus of the Nativity will be
shown acompained by music from
the Cantata, “The Babe of Beth¬
lehem” by Bernard Hamilton.
There will be fifty girls in the
cast and the Glee Club together.
These girls and their leaders will
come to Cairo Sunday afternoon
and will be intertained by the
Young People’s group of the
church. The WSCS will serve
supper for them before the pro¬
gram.
You are cordially invited to
hear these talented singers and
performers.

Elton Smith, of Whigham. The

the East Side Baptist Church at

Miss Gainous is a graduate of
the Cairo High School and is now
employed at the R. E. A. office
here.
Mr. Smith attended the Whig¬
ham High School; he is an em¬
ployee of H. V. Kell Company.

cil, which is made up of all the
Clubs of Grady County, will hold
a Christmas Bazaar on December
16 and 17. The place will be an¬
