Reception
The bride’s parents entertained
at a reception at the Woman’s
Club-house following the wedd¬
ing.
The bride’s table, overlaid with
a line cut-work cover, was cen¬
tered with a two-tiered wedding
cake toped with a miniature bride
and groom; the base was encircl¬
ed with plumosa fern dotted with
white camellias; white candles
in silver holders completed the
adornment. Red carnations, poin
setias and green candles were
used on the book-shelves, mantel
and other tables.
The guests were greeted by
Mrs. Leland Barnes.
Marjorie Smith, of Tifton, an
aunt of the bride, was in charge
of the register.
The ice course consisting of
brick cream in white and white
iced cakes centered with a green
bell, was served by Misses Jerry
and Carolyn Strickland, of Cal¬
vary, June Poulk and Mrs. Donald
Cone. Punch was served by Miss
Martha John Harrell and Mrs.
Elmer Forrester. Others assist¬
ing serving and entertaining the
guests were Mesdames A. L.
Thompson, Thelma Shelter, Eu¬
gene Shiver, Clower White

After visiting with their rel¬
atives and friends for a
