CRIPPLED AND DENT FOR TEN YEARS
WITH RHEUMATISM.
The Case Happened In Panama, Mo.,
and Is I lie Wonder of tile Slate.
[K lim the Kuiis is City Times.)
For yearn one of the best known men in
BatCi and Vernon counties bus been Mark
M. Woodson, now postmaster at Panama,
and brother of ex State Inspector of Mines,
C. C. Woodson, of this city. The people of
Rich Hill, where be formerly resi led, and of
his present home, remember well the bent
form, misshapen almost from the semblance
of man, which has painfully bowed its head
half to earth and labored snail like across
the walks season after season, and when one
day list month it straightened to its full
height, threw away tile heavy butt of cane
wnieh for years It id bean its only support
from total helplessnes, and walked erect,
firmly, unhesitatingly about the two cities,
people looked and w ntdered. The story of
the remarkable c tse lias b .-come the m trvel
of the two counties. Exactly as Mr. Wood
son toid it to a Tim s reporter, it is here
published:
“ In ’B-1 the rheumatism stirted in my
right knee, and after a lingering llineas it
settle 1 generally in my joints. I was
finally able to arise, but for the past 5 years
could only walk with the aid of crutches,
and my body was boat half toward the
ground. I went to the best dispensary in
Kansas City, where I was treated for six
weeks, and' without the slightest good. I
then tried a strong galvanic battery, with
the same result. I thi n went to the City
Hospital at St. Louis, where the best physi
cians tre ite I me—!including I>rs. Kale aud
Mudd)—but without result,and I came home,
weak, doubled with pain and despondent.
“About this time my attention was called
to the account of a remarkable cure by I)r.
Williams Fink Fills f>r Fale Fcople of
locomotor ataxia, rheumatism and paral
ysis. I ordered some of the pills as an ex
periment. When ! began to take them, the
rhe"..n tt,i m had developed into a phase of
paralysis ; my leg front the thigh down was
cold all the time and could not be kept
w arm. In ash >rt time I was able to attend
to ray ofnrs duties, and I could enjoy a sound
and restful night's sleep, sometbing 1 bad

cured of ittv terrible and agonizing ailment.
No magician of the Far F.ust ever wrought
the miracle w'fh Ids wand that Dr. Wil
