what is milk
The most perfect food in the world is milk. Nature
has provided that the youngest and most tender child shall
have this food. In milk there is a generous supply of oil, or
fat. This exists in the form of minute globules, or tiny
drops. They are so small that it takes hours for them to
rise to the surface, as cream. We say, “milk is an emul
sion,” because the oil is in this fiuely divided condition.
SdStli Smukicru
of Cod-Jiver Oil with the hypophosphites, has the cod-liver
oil in these fine globules, thus making it an emulsion. Boys
■ aid girls, as well as delicate invalids, can take cod-liver oil
when prepared in this manner. In fact, it is well adapted to
young children. The hypophosphites give strength to
the nervous system 'and needed material to growing bone.
Learn from nature : take cod-liver oil only as au emulsion.

Nil**. Mr. Pennell is a farmer and has a
neut and comfortable home uear Nile*. We
asaed Mr. Pennell if it was true that he had
been cured <>f a bad case of rheumatism by
Dr. WilUnins’ Pink Pills. He said that
three years ago in August 1891, he was
idzed with severe pain* in the hip, just
where the rciatic nerve is, which gradually
ran d« vra his leg making life a misery to
him hut not preventing him from doing
iome work on the farm. Soon after he was
loading hay when he slipped off the loud

he coul l Help some around the farm again.
About T ciu'.igiving time he wan helping to
put away some barrel* of cider which he had
made, when he strained himself and again
been roe helpless. He then tried another
physician who felt confident of curing him
by the u*e of the electric battery and raedi

the result, he got no better, find another
physician was tried and treated him for

was affected. Sharp puin* would start in
his hand or foot, run up one side of his
body, over hi* ihoulders and then down the
other side and then pas* off for a short time.
Parse pain* would return regularly, affect
ing his whole body and nothing p emed to
relieve him and he began to despair of ever
being well. In the spring of 1892 a relative
in another county read of a cr.ce va-y simi

by Pink Pills, and sent the article to him,
