-----— ______
Little Howard from us has g<5he,
The voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled. k
His little chair is empty,
His toys are placed away
"We can never hear his footsteps now
As we used to day by day.
*
A little while he spent with us
’Till God for him his angels sent
Then he closed his little eyes
To wake in glory in the skies.
Sleep on, little Howard, sleep!
And take thy peaceful rest,
’Tis hard to part from thee,
But God knoweth the best.
