new readers, making one organization do the work, and divide the cost of marketing
by three. That is why this year you can buy three magazines that fit the needs of every

WATSON'S MAGAZINE.
The leading exponent of Jeffer¬
sonian Democracy, Edited by Hon
Thos. E- V\ atson, H Georgia, the
bather of Rural Free Delivery;
author of “The Story of Fran ce, ■)
“Life of Napoleon, > > % ( Lite and
Times of Tomas Jeff ereon,” “Beth
any” and other books, Mr. Wat
son was the People’s Party nomt
nee for Vice-President in 1896
and for President in 1904. He is
today beading a middle-class re¬
form movement which is bound to
sweep the country in a short time.
Watson’s Magazine is not a
Socialist publication, It does not
stand for collective ownership ot
all the means of production. Mr.
Watson believes in public or gov
ernment ownership of railroads,
telegraphs and telephones ; in mu¬
nicipal ownership of street railroads
gas, electric lights, water works,
etc. ;and he believes in private
ownership of all industries not
natural monopolies.
The middle class—the homo
owners, farmers, small business
men and property owners—won
Jefferson’s victory in 1800; won
Jackson’s victory over Nick Biddle
money power in 1882; won Lin¬
coln’s victory in 1860. But each
time after the flush of victory had
died away, they became careless
of their rights and went to sleep.
They have slept a good portion of
the time siuce 1865, but-
Watson’s Magazine is waking
them up. Another great victory
is in the air. Keep in touch with
the movement.
