MAKES OLD THINGS NEW
TT ALSO keeps them new. There will
be no old, dull looking furniture or
wonder-worker dingy woodwork in homes where this
is used. No refinishing or
revarnishing necessary. Liquid Veneer is
not a varnish, but a surface food and
cleaner that builds up the original finish
and makes it brighter then ever.
It instantly restores the brilliant newness
and finish of Pianos, Furniture, Picture
Frames, Interior Woodwork, Hardwood
Floors and all polished, varnished or
enameled surfaces. Removes scratches,
stains, dirt and dullness.
A childlcan apply it. Nothing but a
piece of cheese cloth is needed and there
is no drying to wait for.

In Memoriam.
Carrie Bee Pickett entered God’s
Kingdom April 21, 1906.
Where is Carrie Bee; 1 We call
and she does not answer; we look
and our eyes are blinded, we can
not see, we listen, there is silence
while the loneliness keeps us just a
wearying—a wearying for Carrie
Bee.
Where is she and where isHeav
en? They seem so far away.
Though a bright, brief life of
childhood, Carrie Bee Piekett eld¬
est daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim
I ickett was the embodiment of
joy, beauty and sunshine. Her
presence a comforting blessing in
the home circle where she was lov¬
ingly and tenderly nutured. Her
pretty ryes and sweet smile win¬
ning love from all with whom she
came in Contact. Then the gloom
of sickness overshadowed her until
the angel of Death took her so
gently irorn our midst we scarcely
knew when she was gone.
Surrounded by her devoted fath¬
er, mother, sisters, brothers and
others who faithfully loved her,
we watched hef dear life ebb away,
realizing the utter helpfulness of
human power to stay the icy chilli
ness that was creeping over her,
as she passed through the valley
and shadow of death guided by her
Saviour's eye. Frequently an an¬
gelic smile illuminated her face,
wbile fainter and fainter she
breathed ; then all was still. We
felt that another angel was in our
midst. They covered her with
beautiful flowers, pure as her fair
young life. Tearfully we pray
that she may watch and leave the
heavenly gates ajar, when some
swept day we meet again.
May the peace of God rest upon
the lonely hearts that are “just
a wearing for Carrie Bee.’’

of paint already prepared. He cannot
know the ingredients of such mixtures.
First-class painting can only be had by
the use of paint which contains nothing
but Pure White Lead and Pure Linseed
