Hays-Leftwich.
Hayston was the scene of a very
pretty home wedding on Thursday,
Oct. 25th at 4 p. m., when Miss
Evie, the lovely daughter ot Mr.
and Mrs. F. M. Hays, was uuited
in marriage to Mr. E. 0. Leftwich,
of Conyers.
The house was attractively dec¬
orated with pot plants and quanti¬
ties of cut flowers. The arch of
smiilax under which the bridal
pair stood was •prettily decorated
with cosmos.
The bride was unusually beau
tiful m her trim travelling suit of
gray cloth and becoming hat of

maids were daintly attired in white
chiffons
The impressive ceremony was
performed by Rev. J. A. Clotfelter,
of Conyers. Miss Minnie Clotfel
tec rendered the wedding inarch in
a charming manner.
The attendabty were : Miss

Mary Hays, sister of the bride,
maid of honor, and Misses Carrie
Harwell and Rangel Marks; Mr.
J. H. Maddox, best man, and
Messrs. Chas. Floyd and Carl
Harwell.
Miss Hays’ sweet manner and
womanly qualities have won for
her a wide circle of friends who
will be interested to know of her
marriage.
Mr. Leftwich is a prominent
young business man of Conyers,
and is held in high esteem by all
who know him.
Immediately after the ceremony,
under a shower of rice, the happy
couple left for their home in Con¬
yers where they will be at home to
their friends at the Stewart Hotel.
