Death of Mrs. Sallie Anderson.
Mrs. Sallie Anderson, one of the
best known and most highiy re¬
spected ladies of this county, died
at her home about two miles north
of this city on Sunday afternoon
about two o’clock. She was 57
years of age and had been a life
member of the Methodist church,
and a Christian lady.
She had been in ill health for
many months and confined to her
bed more than two months prior
to her death.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by
three children, one son, Mr. Jake
Anderson, and two daughters,
Misses Brownie and Dora Sue An¬
derson, all of this county.
The funeral took place on Mon¬
day [afternoon at the residence,
after which the remains were inter¬
red in West View.

last two years has been with

er, has resigned his position with
that firm and has entered the
rural mail service. Mr. King was
formerly in the government ser

held and Mr. King made the high¬
est mark among a large number of
applicants. He will have route
