COURSE OF STUDY.
The course of study in the schools will be confined to the
elementary branches of an English education, practical lectures
on Agriculture in all its branches, and the Mechanic arts.
The nature and tendency of the curriculum will be the edu¬
cation of the pupils, both theoretically and practically, in the
science of agriculture and mechanic arts, and prepare them
for citizenship.
Class room work in agriculture and related science, English
Mathematics and History, are to take up three hours a day
and at least the same length of time is to be spent on the
farm, in the laboratory, or shop, the exigencies to regulate the
hours in actual farm work. The farm and shop will be in
continuous operation, work and study alternating among the
classes, morning and afternoon. Female students will be
given a practical and comprehensive course in domestic
science, sewing, household economics and kindred studies.
Remember, the subscriber must sign the Coupon,
although the vote can be cast for any boy or girl in this
county.
All subscribers who are in arrears and who desire to
pay up will be given the following number of votes:
