Tribute of Respect.
Mr. W. P. Berry, who was our
beloved assistant superintendent
xmd faithful member of County
Line church, has been called from
mtr midst to join in th« song of
the Church Triumphant.
We mourn his loss, but not as
those .who have no hope. We feel
his mansion has been prepared aud
our hearts go out in sympathy to
the bereaved wile and fatherless
children. We commend them to
Him who has promised to be a
Father to the orphans and widows.
Therefore be it resolved:
1st—That in all the duties de¬
cking upon him, he was ever
ind faithful.
2nd—That he will bo missed
f•• n our midst. His place in the
Sabbath School; in society, and
in the church, will be vacaut. His
mission with us was short but hie
uk raorv we cherish.
3rd—That a page in our minutes
be ascribed to his memory and
that a copy of these resolutions be
sent to the bererved family and to

The Power of Interest.
A good many people think it does not pay to save
because "interest does not amount to much.”
Of course the main reason for saving is to get ahead
r- and be somebody and to be prepared for emergencies, but >’
Interest Does Amount to a Great D eaL I
u d,
n Ask any man who is paying it. There is all the difference SB
in the world between paying interest and getting
interest. It is the difference between walking and riding,
between really living and merely existing.
