Few Johnson Dead.
Mr. Few Johnson, the 10-year
old eon of Mr. and Mrs. L- L
Johnson, of Oxtord, died at Cor¬
nelia Friday last after a short ill¬
ness of pneumonia.
He was at the time or his death
attending school at Cornelia, and
the last news from him to his pa¬
rents was that he was in good
health and doing well m all hts
studies, but within a few days the
nows 'tame that he was critically
ill with pneumonia, and be died
in a few hours after his mother
reached his bedside.
Few was a bright young man
with a very promising future and
had many friends among the young
people of Covington and Oxford
as well as among his associates and
class mates at school.
His remains were brought to Ox¬
ford, thence to Conyers for burial.
He was a member of the I. O. R.
M. here, and an escort was sent
from the Covington tribe with the
body to its last testing place.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and the
relatives have the sympathy of the
entire community in this, their
sad hour.

W. D. Wynn Died in Newnan.
Mr. W. D. Wynn, Jr., formerly
au employee of Dr. J. A. Wright,
of this city, died at the home of
his brother-in-law, Mr. J. N. Mar
bun’, in Newnan, M today, after an
illness of three weeks, beginning
with grip, which developed into
pneumonia several days ago.
Mr. Wynn left, here a few mouths
ago to go to Newnan to accept a
position with the Haffaner Drug
Co., of that city.
Mr. Wynn was 22 years of ago,
and during his stay ir. Covington
made many friends.
The remains were carried to
Shady Dale for iutermeut Tuesday.
