cornea there is no fishing ever to
amount to anything, but the hunt
mg fever sprade over everything,
They are after all things gameable,
and from morning till night shots
are ringing out over field aud
wood. Nor does it end here-all
heard thoughout the land. In the
early spring the dove fever again
snrikes the huntsman, while the
fever for fishing breaks out and
the fishermen are busv making
fiish baskets, mending trout lines
and fixing set hooks. When
spring time is here the gun is oiled,
nicely cleaned and put away.
And then it is fishing, fishing,
fishing.
Aut the greatest fever of all is
right now-the seining fever. The
prohibitive law against seining
went out on the first of July, and
immediately a rush was made for
the stream, and it is still going on
Old seines were brought out and
patched over; new netting bought
and new seins mad*. At nearly
every farm house new or old soins
can be seen hanging on the fence.
