■ Dear Sirs: Anew word has
come
into nse iu paint; it is strong
String paint is paint as strong as
paint can be. Weak paint is paint
not so strong.
If one paint lakes 10 gallons to

The strongest paint is the one
that takes least gallons aud wears
longest.
But do such differences exist?
Yes, and greater. Devoe is the

Time Was Lost in Getting Down to a
Steady Business Gait
Newton superior court conven
e l Monday morning for the sprin
verm, with Judge L.S. Roan ©>: tin
bench and Solicitor W. S Howard
in attendance.
A large number of people from
all sections of the county have
been in attendance upon the cour
as well as a number of attorneys
from other places.
As soon as court conveued the
grand jury wasorgauized and Judge
Roan delivered his charge to them
and it was in his usual strong and
vigorous style, in which be called
the attention of the body of all its
duties toward the public. The
jury at once proceeded to the trans¬
action of its business and has been
in daily session ever since. Var¬
ious committees have been named
for the investigation of all the af¬
fairs of the county in order that
the body may know how to pro
ceed intelligently.
The civil docket was taken up
and the court wat under good
working headway before the noon
hour, having tried one case and
secured a verdict trom the jury,
and since then much progress has
been made in disposing of cases.
Yesterday morning the criminal
docket was taken up and several
cases were disposed of during the
day.
Many are of the opinion that the
court will dispose of the entire
docket this week and make a eec
ond week’s session unnecessary,
but of course that wilt largely de
pend npon the length of tune
needed for cases yet to be heard.
