Woodruff of Macon, was the admired guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Woodruff Saturday night and Sunday. Mrs. Ben McCart and Miss Lizzie Myers visited Mrs. Howard Piper Sun¬ day afternoon. Miss Nana Hilley spent last Monday afternoon very pleasantly with Miss Myrtie Piper. Miss Ethel Piper spent a short while with Miss Katie Vining Saturday. Mr. J. T. Wicks was the guest of Mr. Z. D. Kinnett Sunday. Mrs. D. W. Kinnett and Miss Effie Kinnett spent one day last week at Leguin as the guest of Mrs. Kinnett’s mother Mrs. Capes, who has been ill for the past few days. Mr. Clarence Hilley spent Saturday and Sunday with friends and relatives in Atlanta. We are sorry to note the illness of Mr. and Mrs. Will Vaughns’ two chil¬ dren and hope for them a speedy re¬ covery. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kinnett and little son spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Piper and family. Miss Lillie Weatherly opened school here Tuesday with a good attendance. Mr. Howard Smith has been con¬ fined to his room w T ith the grip for the past few days. We hope he will soon be out again. His mother, Mrs. T. H. Smith continues quite ill.
