Miss Mary Harwell left Fri
day for Wesleyan College, Ma¬
con.
Owing to her prominence as
president of the Student Gov
ernment Body, it was necessary
that Aliss Harwell go some time
before the opening to arrange for
the reception given this week
Miss Harwell was very busy
all summer issuing bulletins,
rules and regulations and as¬
sembling the names of commit¬
tees serving for 1923-24.
Covington has a distinctive
honor in Miss Harwell’s position
at Wesleyan, and one of which
everybody should feel justly
proud. She is the daughter of
Air. and Airs. C. L. Harwell.

At the conclusion of the game

dainties were served with ice tea.

quisitions.
Directed by Miss Brownie Huson, the
members expressed grateful apprecia¬
tion of Mrs. Clark’s service to the or¬
ganization. Many phases of her life and
character were briefly and beautifully
portrayed.
A cherry ice cream with cake was
dispensed in conclusion.
