To Name Secretary
Tomorrow Night
The Board of directors held a me *:- i
ing on Inst Friday morning at the of j
lice of the City Council to consider the
election of secretary-manager.
Action on the employment of that of-1
ficer was delayed until March 21
so as to give opportunity to hear from
several applicants located at distant
points.
However, the board of directors voted'
on one item which will prove of consi
derable interest, namely, the admis
sion of ladies of the town and countv
to full members on payment of flvej
dollars for those residing in Covington
and two dollars and a half for those
living outside ihe r*lty limits. It is ex
pected that a large number of Indies
will join the trade hoard under this
arrangement, which was unanimously j
approved by the directors. The belief..
is expressed that the admission of
ladies will prove t<> be one of the bes: ;
pieces of legislation enacted by the t
Trade Board that the trade biiard j
could do.
1
The meeting Friday night at which
the secretary-manager is to be elected
will consummate the most important
event in the history of the trade board,
as its success or failure depends upon :
the selection of a live wire who knows j
his lines throughly and is a result;
